ABOUT ME

I'm George Schriemer.

Experienced artist and illustrator with a demonstrated history of working in the fine art industry. Skilled in murals, theatre, visual arts, fashion, and painting. Strong arts and design professional with an education focused on fine arts from School of Art Minerva Groningen.

My current focus is on creating still life artworks that tell stories without words. If I would give my work style a name, I would call them ''storytelling still lifes''. My projects are carried out in a surrealistic art style with hints of symbolism and absurdism, often inspired by events in my past, my personal life or in the world.

I have a long background in professional illustration for many book authors, publishers and other clients. I also have experience in creating outdoor street art projects such as murals.
